Hi Cara, I have been on Epilim 500 twice a day for just 4 weeks. I've had Petit Mal (Absence Seizures) for 40 years and refused to take any medication, so at 17 and 44 had 2 grand mal seizures which are more severe, became unconscious. Even though I had someone at home it could have been more serious had no-one been there to assist me. Side affects I have noticed with Epilim 500 were feeling unwell / sick, dropping things, sudden rushes of dizziness, discomfort on left side of chest, unsteady and feeling of weakness when walking, irritability, bouts of depression, hunger, stuttering, some blurred vision, drowsiness, some abdominal pain and some minor diarrohea. After 4 weeks the only side affects I still have are some stuttering in my speech, tiredness and unsteady / weakness when walking - all other side affects mentioned above have gone. I am still watching for hair loss seeing this can be a side affect. Good Luck
