Hi Chips, I have been on trileptal and Keppra for 10 months and now being slowly taken off of it. As I am being given a newer drug which they hope will work better for me. I had been taking 2100mg. I found I had to take it with food otherwise had double vision and felt disoriented a bit. I wish you the best on it.

hi chips , I am starting to be on Lamictal which I am finding has few side affects and also has boosted my stability around my emotions. What I mean here is two things, One it is also used for those with emotional issues and bipolar. I am not bi polar however I am an emotionla person and always have been. SO I am noticing that I am more even on this issue. I will also share that meds are pretty tricky with me in that I sometimes have a hard time with the side affects. I am hopeful this will work and that when I get off trileptal and am on keppra at 1500 and lamictal it will help more with my seizures. We will see!! Good luck to you on this interesting journey we are all on. If you have further questions feel free to let me know.
