Hey stonerock - I have found that the trileptal, even the low dose I'm on, has controlled the seizures for me.  I was having simple and complex partials almost daily, but always just after waking up and usually in or just after the shower.  My neuro said he thought I must be having them in my sleep, too, but I only noticed it once or twice.  I haven't had any full seizures since I started on Trileptal.  I have on one or two occassions felt like I was going to have one, but I was able to sort of concentrate my way around them, if that makes sense.

I never minded having the seizures, they were even somewhat pleasant, but I want so badly to be able to drive again in June that I will do whatever it takes to avoid them if I can.  I have really changed my lifestyle - cutting back on the alcohol intake, cutting down my workload (lucky for me I can do that, I know), generally trying to cut down the stress level.

I'm going to see my neuro tomorrow and see what he says.
