Trileptal

I'm just on Trileptal. I just started having simple and complex partial seizures last year at age 37. Normal MRI, some evidence of seizure activity on sleep-deprived EEG.
I am on 300 milligrams 2x per day, which seems to have controlled the seizures without causing any side effects other than my gaining about 15 lbs in 3 months. Arrgh.

Chips, I'm on Trileptol, Keppra & Zonegran. The only problem I have is wieght and emotions which I was told is caused by Keppra. But I stay pretty much in balance as long as I eat a well balanced meal, take vitamins and take my meds at the sametime each day. It's been the best combination for me. Wendy
