my daughter is only 18 and takes lamictal but she takes 600 a day so maybe you aren't up to the max yet and need to go higher
how do you like the keppra....any side effects? she is on topamax now and we are thinking about switching to keppra

Hey mate,
Hang in there and never quit. Seizures suck I know to well. but u will find the right balance of medication or other alternative methods to control them. Since your only 19 I am going to tell you what i did. Marijuana 100% controlled my epilepsy. No more seizures at all. Talk to your neurologist about that. Im not some idiot trying to push drugs on to anyone. Im just letting you know it worked for me 100% without fail. I regained my life where i felt i could go outside my house, and my friends which whom I lost due to epilepsy as they used to have to "baby sit me".I was only 19 also.
