post op surgery site question
Mon, 04/14/2008 - 11:13I had right temporal lobe surgery done in '07, and I'm curious to know if anyone who has had this surgery still have, as I call them, little bumps around the surgery site? Although i feel great and have had no seizures thus far, i wonder if anyone else has these. I know it is because of the screws in the skull. They dont hurt, nor are they bothersome. Its kinda "funky" though running my hand across my temple and feeling it. LOL . Anyone? Becky

Hi
Thanks for the info! Great to hear about your being seizure free!! Myself, i have been doing great. Yesterday marked 11 months being seizure free! I too am so happy to be able to have a better quality of life. I am doing things that i used to fear. I'm also driving again, and that independence again is so wonderful to have. I thank God everyday for giving me this second chance.
Take care, and God bless, Becky
