lamictal for complex partial seizures

Dr. just suggested me to switch from trileptal to lamictal after 2 months of trial on trileptal, which seems doesn't work for me. Does anyone have well control of complex partial seizures using lamictal? Thanks.

Hi, My son has been on 400  mg  TOPAMAX  , 3600 mg  NEURONTIN  1500mg of TRILEPTAL  daily for the past 8 months to control Complex Parcial siezures and and was working but then they found problems with his liver and have to get him off the TRILEPTAL.  They are starting him on the Lamictal.  It will tak a while till he is off the TRILEPTAL and fully on the Lamictal.  Has anyone ever experience this problem?  Any info about the  Lamictal. Thanks

Penny, Neurontin nearly killed me. I guess we are all different, but I'd be careful on that stuff!
