pregnancy and keppra

Hello everyone I am 28 years old, female, with JME. My doctor has switched me from Depakote to Lamictal and now Keppra. I take Keppra 1000mg a day. Is there anyone, who is on Keppra, who is pregnant or who has had a baby. There is a ton of information of Lamictal and pregnancy but not much of Keppra and pregnancy. My husband and I want to start planning for a family, but we are VERY nervous. My ob/gyn put me on a prenatal vitamin and extra folic acid. I would appreciate any information from anyone. -aspepath

I am 22 and have grand mal epilepsy. I have a 4 month old and while I was pregnant I took lamictal an my baby was born with a cleft in her spine so be careful everyone is different.

hi im 18 and just found out im pregnant, i have been having seizures since i was a child and only recently been put on keppra, i have a mixed dose with tegratol. my mother was also on the same does as me before my yonger brother was born, he has slight learning difficulties but is very healthy. my specialist says there is a 2.2% chance of sothing being wrong with my child when it is born but its small

 I was married at 32 and immediately tried to get pregnant. When I was unable to conceive I had blood tests for fertility and was told that I had an FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) of 54 and would not be able to have children. Even though the doctors knew that I had been diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis since age 25, no one bothered to check my thyroid levels. my TSH was measured at .001. My Synthroid dosage was lowered. a friend advise me to contact a spiritualist who help with fertility with her medicine, i collected her contact an explain my situation to her she prepared for me a herbal medicine which i took as describe  I by her. became pregnant very quickly,  I had a successful pregnancy.
